How to Use - Select a Type 17 screw with correct head style for the job,
- Choose a Type 17 screw that is long enough to provide at least 25mm engagement of thread embedment into the timber being fastened to,
- Choose the correct driver of the Type 17 screw being used,

- Fit driver to a power screw driver set to low approximately 1000rpm,
- Put Type 17 screw onto driver and place at fastening position,
- Push sharply on screw driver to create a starting point,
- Squeeze screw driver trigger and maintain firm end pressure until Type 17 screw has drilled and fastened,
- Do not over tighten as screw threads can strip from timber.
- Type 17 screws for timber may also be had driven using a hand brace.
